Position Overview:
The Brewer is responsible for managing the brewing operations. This includes brewing core and seasonal beers maintaining brewing equipment and ensuring that every pint served is of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical skill creativity and a collaborative mindset.
Brewer Basic Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to allbrewing operations including brewing cellaring and packaging
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Diligence in record keeping and documentation
- Tracking batch data with QC/QA analytics
- Brew cellar transfer filter package beer according to SOPs
- Yeast pitching and harvesting
- CIP processes
- Support production team and production according to direction from Head Brewer
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing equipment and facilities
- Monitor fermentation and perform quality control testing
- Manage inventory of raw materials and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (TTB ABC etc.)
Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative and passionate about the craft beer industry
- Formal brewing education or certification is a plus

Qualification Requirements
At least 12 years professional brewing experience
Knowledge of all processes from grain to glass
Proficiency in time management record keeping
Experience in product packaging (canning experience preferred)
