RSC2 is currently looking for aSystems Engineer Level 0to join our growing team inFort Meade Maryland!

Responsibilities:

• Perform systems engineering functions including defining and documentingconceptof operations operational/system requirements and use cases to support system development.
• Perform high-level system design specify system/component performance and interface requirements.
• Develop installation integration andacceptancetest plans.
• Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to ensure they bestfacilitatestrategic and tactical efforts.
• Coordinate with customers project teams and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy the requirements.
• Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by the product teams.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly
• Education:Bachelors degree inengineering and no experience
• Experience:May substitute a degree ina relevanttechnical field (for example computer science mathematics or physics) entryis with aBachelorsdegree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example conception design & development testing production distribution/deployment operation maintenance & support decommissioning)
• Forallabove degrees ifprogramis not ABET accredited it must include specified coursework.
• Specified coursework includes courses in differential and integral calculus and 5 of the following 18 areas: (a) statics or dynamics (b) strength of materials/stress-strain relationships (c) fluid mechanics hydraulics (d) thermodynamics (e) electromagnetic fields (f) nature and properties of materials/relating particle and aggregate structure to properties (g) solid state electronics (h) microprocessor applications (i) computer systems (j) signal processing (k) digital design (l) systems and control theory (m) circuits or generalized circuits (n) communication systems (o) power systems (p) computer networks (q) software development (r) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics such as optics heat transfer or soil mechanics.

Salary at RSC2 isdeterminedbyvarious factorsincluding but not limited to location theparticular combinationof education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is$70265 - $168390(annualized USD). The estimate displayedrepresentsthe typical total compensation range for this position. This position is contingent upon contract award and government funding.
