What Youll Bring:

Fundamental concepts and algorithms from a Computer Science degree or equivalent including object-oriented programming
Backend application development experience and design on Linux-based systems
Familiarity with programming in Python and Bash
Ability to test code changes through automated and manual testing to find and resolve technical issues
Knowledge of the git version control system

Networking experience (TCP/IP HTTP SSH)

Impact Youll Make:

TransUnion is now looking for entry-level Linux and Python programmers to join the TruLookup application team. We are a talented agile and passionate group made up of highly skilled individuals. If you are interested in joining a fast-paced and highly engaged team please apply!

How Youll Contribute:

You will use your familiarity with Linux and knowledge of Python to support our online automated batch processing service.
You will contribute to a combination of new development as well as supporting existing systems.
Day to Day Tasks: Monitor system uptime take part in Agile software workflow and develop/execute test cases.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $56250.00 - $93750 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience job-related skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
