About the Role

As a Project Manager you will lead large complex municipal water and wastewater engineering projects acting as the primary contact for clients and project partners. You will guide preconstruction planning oversee field execution direct subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and to the highest quality standards.
This role suits a seasoned professional who excels in fast-paced collaborative environments and thrives at the intersection of engineering construction and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Preconstruction & Planning

  • Support project directors with RFP responses conceptual estimates and proposal development
  • Participate in client presentations and design review meetings
  • Monitor design progress and provide constructability feedback
  • Develop estimates cost codes and project cost control systems
  • Prepare bid packages respond to inquiries analyze bids and award subcontracts

Project Execution

  • Define jobsite organizational needs with construction leadership
  • Plan sequence and schedule work with superintendents and subcontractors
  • Conduct onsite coordination meetings and manage project schedules
  • Maintain cost controls labor tracking and project status reporting
  • Coordinate permits inspections and regulatory approvals
  • Manage submittals from suppliers and subcontractors

Client & Team Leadership

  • Oversee client relationships progress reporting correspondence and change order management
  • Manage invoicing requisitions and cash flow optimization
  • Issue and track change orders for owners and subcontractors
  • Review subcontractor performance requisitions and insurance compliance
  • Monitor jobsite progress quality and safety
  • Mentor and support career growth for construction personnel
  • Lead project closeout and warranty activities





Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of construction management experience on Water Treatment and/or Wastewater projects
  • Strong background in industrial water/wastewater design and construction (required)
Research experience is a plus

Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication organization and client service abilities
  • Strong sales presentation and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Energetic selfdriven and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective timemanagement and prioritization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel and related tools
  • Ability to travel 50%
Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to:

  • Travel to project sites and various locations
  • Stand walk kneel crouch and lift/move 1050 lbs
  • Perform frequent hand and finger movements for coordination and equipment use
  • Sit talk and hear during daily tasks

Required Skills:

What You Bring Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field 3-8 years of experience in data construction project management Strong background in data center facility design and construction Expertise in project budgets scheduling estimating and resource management Knowledge of construction methods engineering concepts materials and technology Excellent communication leadership organizational and analytical skills Strong understanding of safety requirements and best practices Alignment with company values focused on teamwork excellence service and trust Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to travel to jobsites and safely perform tasks involving standing walking kneeling bending and occasionally lifting materials (1050 lbs).
