Job Summary
Machine Operator
Location: Rochester Hills MI Pay: $18.00
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 1:30 AM)
Hours: 810 hour shifts (some weeks up to 58 hours with OT)
Estimated Start Date: Next 12 weeks
Position Summary We are immediately hiring skilled and reliable Machine Operators for a growing automotive tube manufacturing facility in Cadillac MI. You will operate CNC benders N-formers automation equipment deburring machines band saws circular saws wire wheels and related production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC tube benders formers and automated machinery
- Perform deburring saw cutting leak testing and part washing
- Read and use a tape measure (millimeter and metric)
- Follow safety procedures and pay close attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently or as part of a team on rush orders
Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure in millimeters and metric
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous machine or manufacturing experience preferred but we are somewhat lenient for the right attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE safety glasses gloves shield composite hard-toe shoes provided by the company)
