Job Summary

UPS Field Service Engineer

A leading supplier of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices in the Southeast is interviewing now! Will consider all levels from entry to senior.

Be a key member of the team specializing in providing reputable critical power solutions ranging from battery backups for office computers to full-scale data center power solutions.

Duties include installs maintenance and repairs to ensure continuous power for critical infrastructure.

Be able to travel to client sites for preventative maintenance emergency troubleshooting and system commissioning.

Key roles require electrical expertise and strong customer communication to minimize downtime and experience with 550KVa and higher.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Field Services Engineer based in Atlanta GA with some work from-home flexibility.

The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for providing field service operations troubleshooting and technical support.

Day-to-day tasks will include preventive maintenance installing and servicing UPS devices and ensuring the reliability of critical power systems.

Additional responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and addressing client technical queries.

Qualifications

Field Service and Troubleshooting skills

Technical Support and Preventive Maintenance experience

Strong Customer Service skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment

Experience in power supply or related industry is a plus

Associates or Bachelors degree or related work experience

Requirements

Experience:

Ideally 3-5 years in power electronics electrical systems or military generation

Education:

Technical school degree Associates degree (Electronics) or equivalent military training

Technical Knowledge:

Expertise or experience with UPS equipment batteries and switch-gear

Technical Skills:

Proficient with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters

Physical & Safety Requirements:

Capable of lifting traveling to client sites and adhering to strict safety protocols (OSHA NFPA 70E)
