We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team in Olympia and Seattle Washington. Opportunities are available in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Long-Term Care (LTC) and Per Diem roles. The RN will provide high-quality patient care collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians and care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to infection control safety and regulatory guidelines
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants
Specialty-Specific Duties
Med-Surg:
- Manage care for adult patients with a variety of acute conditions
- Monitor post-operative recovery and administer complex treatments
Long-Term Care (LTC):
- Provide ongoing care for residents with chronic illnesses or disabilities
- Support quality of life and long-term wellness goals
Per Diem:
- Fill in staffing needs on a flexible as-needed basis
- Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Compassionate patient-centered approach to care
- Flexibility and adaptability (especially for per-diem roles)
Work Schedule
- Full-time part-time and per diem shifts available
- Day evening night and weekend shifts depending on role
Requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for Med-Surg roles)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferred; new grads may be considered for some roles)
Required Skills:
Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy & Speech language Therapy. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. - Provide emotional support to patients and their families. - Document patient information accurately and timely.
Required Education:
. College Degree or equivalent. At least 2 years experience in a Staffing role performing similar work duties. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
