A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized intellectual property litigation group. This team is built for hands-on experience offering a strong partner-to-associate ratio and direct access to senior litigators on high-stakes matters.
Role and Responsibilities:
Represent clients in patent litigation matters in U.S. district courts.
Participate in ITC investigations and PTAB proceedings.
Draft substantive motions briefs and case strategy materials.
Take an active role in fact and expert discovery including taking and defending depositions.
Work closely with partners on case strategy client interaction and key decisions.
Contribute to matters that often move toward trial or final hearing.

Requirements
35 years of patent litigation experience at a law firm.
Experience representing both patent owners and accused infringers.
Exposure to district court litigation with ITC and/or PTAB experience preferred.
Technical background in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or similar.
USPTO registration is a plus but not required.
Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.
Admitted to the Texas Bar (required).
