JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active NY Medical License required
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years (ABIM/ABFM)
DEA: Active DEA with NY address required
Certifications: ACLS (AHA) ATLS PALS Infection Control Certificate
Experience: Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; ICU experience required
Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice file; case logs (24 months); minimum 50 CME credits; TB test flu vaccination drivers license copy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient hospitalist care during day shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule
Manage ICU patients including ventilator support as needed
Respond to codes and rapid response events
Collaborate with APPs and telehealth providers for patient care coverage
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
