Job Summary

Become part of an organization and team that supports our community in becoming a more inclusive society for all! Join our Inclusion team this summer as our Inclusion Camp Counselor! The Camp Counselor will be provide mentorship and positive guidance to children and adults with disabilities while making a positive impact in the community. With in-depth training on disability adaptations accommodation and personal care needs you will gain critical experience in positive guidance techniques and program creation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily activities
  • Provide opportunities for educational enrichment physical activity and healthy eating
  • Build relationships with camp participants and families
  • Assess implement evaluate and adapt camp activities
  • Provide personal care needs and/or administer medication when needed
Shift Specifics:

This is a part-time position working 7:15 am-3 pm Monday Friday between June - July.

5-11 year old

Week 1 June 22-26

12-16 year olds

Week 2 July 6-10

17 year olds

Week 3 July 20-24





Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Education and experience working with individuals with disabilities are preferred
