Provides respiratory therapy and other appropriate clinical interventions to assist with orthopedic and non-orthopedic patients needs.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
- Patient assessment and evaluation inpatient/outpatient.
- Home Care services and overnight oximetry.
- Bronchoscopy set-up and assist.
- Positive expiratory Pressure Therapy.
- Arterial Blood Gas Collection.
- Ventilator set-up and management.
- Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Noninvasive modality ventilation.
- LTV series Ventilator.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Intubation assist.
- Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and STOPBANG.
- Oxygen Delivery devices.
- Portable Oxygen E Integrated Valve Center.
- Sputum specimen collection with Hypertonic Saline.
- Sputum Specimen via Mechanical Ventilator.
- Vibratory Positive Expiratory Pressure Therapy Device.
- Familiar with Bulk Gas Systems.
- Intubation assist and mechanical ventilation.
- Hand Held Nebulizer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License is required.
- Associates Degree in Science discipline is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required American Heart Association/Red Cross preferred.
- Basic Life support (BLS) Certification required American Heart Association/Red Cross preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in science discipline is preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of work experience is required.

Pay Range:
$40.78 - $60.59The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
