Position Summary
The Foreman is responsible for overall supervision of assigned projects ensuring safety quality production and profitability goals are met. This role involves coaching mentoring and developing employees on-site while partnering with the Project Manager to schedule organize and ensure timely cost-effective and safe performance. The Foreman serves as the field leader applying expertise to maintain high-quality work train team members and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Management
Review interpret and apply contract guidelines plans specifications and project milestones.
Plan schedule and manage labor subcontractors materials and deliveries in coordination with Project Manager and client.
Analyze labor materials and costs to establish realistic project expectations.
Communicate and coordinate with team members to prevent and resolve issues.
Participate in project meetings with clients and subcontractors.
Report project performance to Project Manager and relay PM feedback to workforce.
Project Administration
Complete all administrative tasks timely and accurately using PC and project software.
Maintain documentation of project activities safety and compliance.
Leadership & Culture
Mentor coach and develop crew members to improve performance and safety awareness.
Promote teamwork accountability and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Lead by example to drive high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
57 years of experience in commercial construction including 2 years in a supervisory role.
Ability to read and interpret plans specifications and project documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word).
Ability to work MondayFriday with occasional evenings/weekends; flexible schedule.
Reliable transportation for travel to multiple project sites.
Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (experience may substitute for education).
Ability to work in heights confined spaces dusty areas and extreme environmental conditions.
Strong willingness and ability to learn new tasks.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
