Position Overview
The Google Ads Associate will manage day-to-day campaign execution across Search Display Performance Max and YouTube. This role will analyze performance data optimize campaigns and support broader paid media initiatives to improve ROI and drive measurable business outcomes.
This is a hybrid contract role based in the San Jose area.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Optimization
Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search Display Performance Max and YouTube
Build and maintain campaigns ad groups keyword lists and negative keyword strategies
Develop and test ad copy extensions and creative assets
Execute A/B testing strategies to improve performance and conversion rates
Optimize bidding strategies and campaign structure to maximize ROI
Data Analysis & Performance Reporting
Analyze campaign performance using Google Ads Google Analytics (GA4) Salesforce and Tableau
Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance
Monitor search term data and recommend optimizations
Develop and maintain performance reports and dashboards
Budget & Performance Management
Monitor campaign budgets and ensure efficient allocation of spend
Track performance against KPIs and recommend adjustments
Collaboration & Support
Partner with paid media team members to support campaign execution and reporting
Assist with campaign maintenance data pulls and performance enhancements
Stay current on Google Ads updates algorithm changes and industry trends
Requirements
Required Qualifications
35 years of experience managing Google Ads and paid search campaigns
Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Google Ads Editor
Experience with Microsoft Ads / Bing Ads
Strong understanding of keyword research negative keyword management and bidding strategies
Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis
Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimization
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B marketing ideally SaaS
Experience in FinTech or financial services industry
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
Familiarity with enterprise reporting and BI tools
