As an Occupational Therapist you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing treatment plans that aid patients in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care and support for individuals recovering from surgeries and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients functional abilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques and goals
Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current Occupational Therapy license in state of practice

Basic Life Support certification

Outpatient Rehabilitation or Acute Care Experience
