As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart and lung conditions. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing the quality of care we provide.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
Collaborate with surgical teams and medical staff
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
Educate patients and their families about procedures and recovery
Participate in surgical rounds and case reviews
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Active medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
Strong clinical skills and surgical expertise
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: 7a-7a
Cases: Mitraclip TAVR thoracic and aortic repair etc.
Consults and rounding required
Support Staff: PAs RNs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
