As a Locum Otolaryngologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the ear nose and throat. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of otolaryngological conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in otolaryngology
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in Otolaryngology or related field
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour day shifts
Call shifts required
Daily Volume: 25 patients
Caseload: Bread & butter general ENT
Required Procedures: Sinus and nose surgery plastic skin surgery scope procedures excision of small lesions biopsy and laser skin lesion procedures
Support Staff: PAs audiologists physicians
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
