As a Locum Radiologist you will play a vital role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images contributing to patient care and ensuring accurate and timely assessments. Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret imaging studies
- Provide timely reports and consult with referring physicians
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient cases
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Mentor and support junior staff when required
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license to practice in North Dakota
- Completion of a residency program in Radiology
- Strong knowledge of radiological procedures and imaging technologies
- Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4p
Call Requirement: Weeknights (4p-8a) and weekends (24-hour)
Case Volume: 10-15 per day
General IR caseload
Will perform a diverse range of IR procedures
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
