. This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative medical practice environment.
As a Locum CNM you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their families ensuring the highest standards of obstetric and gynecological care. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to manage patient care and contribute to the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal intrapartum and postpartum care to patients
- Perform gynecological examinations and procedures
- Assist in labor and delivery ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
- Educate patients on reproductive health and wellness
- Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare staff to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Participate in continuous education and professional development
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Experience in obstetric and gynecological care
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
Call: 24-hour call shifts and weekend call
Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & lodging
