As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging results ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery. Responsibilities
Interpret medical imaging studies including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to determine patient diagnoses
Provide accurate and timely reports on imaging results
Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical imaging technologies
Mentor and train junior staff when required
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Current board certification in Radiology
Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Experience in interpreting various imaging modalities
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 1 week on / 3 weeks off
Shift: 9:00 PM 6:00 AM
Case Mix: CT ultrasound plain films and MR (body neuro)
Focus: Primarily ER and STAT inpatient reads
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
