This full-time on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional cardiac care to our patients while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Cardiologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases as well as implementing preventative care strategies. Youll work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and contribute to the advancement of our cardiology services.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Perform cardiology procedures such as echocardiograms and stress tests
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Educate patients on cardiovascular health and prevention strategies
Stay abreast of the latest developments in cardiology
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Cardiology
Active medical license in the state of Florida
Previous experience in a cardiology practice is preferred
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Optional STEMI call coverage 1:5 or 1:6 rotation
Setting: 2-3 days per week in the cath lab 1.5 days per week in the clinic
Current Annual Case Volume: 100 TAVRs 30 MitraClips and 50 WATCHMAN
Caseload: 90% clinical 10% administrative
Team Structure: 1 other structural heart physician 9 interventional cardiologists 1 structural heart fellow and 3 interventional cardiology fellows
Full clinical and subspecialty support

Must have academic experience
Must be board-certified
