About the Role
As aBehaviour Support Practitioneryoullwork with individuals their families and support networks to develop and implementPositive Behaviour Support (PBS) plansthat promote safety choice and your clinicalexpertiseto:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with families support workers and allied health professionals.
- Build the capacity of support teams through coaching and mentoring.
- Advocate for people with disability and uphold person-centred rights-based practice.
About You
Youre an empathetic professional who thrives on helping others reach their potential.
You bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology Social Work Counselling or related field.
- Registration preferably as a Core Practitioner or ability to be endorsed to practice as a Suitable Practitioner
- Experience developing and implementing PBS plans in complex settings.
- Strong communicationskills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Strong IT adminand organisation skills as you will be working with billable time.
- A valid drivers licence and willingness to drive and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
