Our client is a leading global footwear and apparel company currently seeking a qualified candidate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a senior specialist responsible for footwear materials management across assigned business units and vendor networks.
Manage materials knowledge execution and documentation to support both product development and production needs.
Address supplier or material-related issues to ensure smooth development and manufacturing processes.
Maintain and manage the footwear material library and related specifications.
Support material selection and evaluate feasibility during product development.
Coordinate with suppliers and factories regarding material sourcing and usage.
Resolve issues related to material quality cost or availability.
Support documentation tracking and reporting related to material management.
Requirements
Key Requirements
At least 7 years of experience working with footwear materials.
Strong knowledge of different types of shoe materials and their applications.
Experience managing material libraries and documentation systems.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills when working with suppliers.
Good communication skills in English (Chinese may be an advantage).
Proficiency in Excel and standard office tools.
