Our client is a leading retail group in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
- Develop and conceptualize new jewellery designs based on market trends target customer insights and brand positioning.
- Create detailed design drawings CAD models and technical specifications to support production processes.
- Research design trends gold and gemstone materials and craftsmanship techniques to deliver innovative and differentiated products.
- Collaborate closely with product development and production teams to ensure design feasibility while maintaining aesthetic and artistic value.
- Prepare and present design concepts including sketches inspiration product storytelling and packaging/display proposals (if required).
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Jewelry Design Fine Arts Industrial Design or related fields; GIA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 35 years of experience as a Jewelry Designer with a strong portfolio in gold and gemstone (gem-set) jewellery.
- Proficient in design tools: Rhino Adobe Creative Suite and jewelry-specific CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of gemology gemstones and jewellery production/manufacturing processes.
- Strong visual thinking and hand-sketching ability with a good sense of design trends.
- Basic communication skills in English or Chinese is an advantage.
- Creative mindset with a passion for jewellery design and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to balance artistic creativity with commercial viability and production constraints.
- Collaborative adaptable and open to feedback and continuous improvement.
