Job Summary

Job Title: Facility Management Coordinator
Location: Oman
Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Role Overview
A Facility Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities ensuring smooth functioning safety and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with vendors managing maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise facility maintenance repairs and daily operations
  • Manage housekeeping security and technical service teams
  • Monitor building systems such as HVAC electrical plumbing and fire safety
  • Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for service delivery and ensure quality standards
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities service reports and asset management
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities
  • Handle tenant/client queries and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Monitor facility budgets expenses and cost control measures
  • Support emergency response planning and incident management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Facility Management Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management or maintenance operations
  • Experience in managing commercial residential or industrial facilities preferred
  • Knowledge of local Oman facility regulations and safety standards is an advantage

Skills Required

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC electrical plumbing)
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software
