Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced BTP Migration Architect to lead and drive large-scale SAP BTP migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will advise customers on selecting suitable applications for SAP BTP deployment and design migration strategies that ensure seamless integration and business continuity.

This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong functional knowledge of enterprise processes and solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP BTP migration projects including planning execution and governance
  
• Advise customers on application portfolio assessment and selection for BTP deployment
  
• Design scalable secure and resilient SAP BTP architectures aligned with enterprise objectives
  
• Define architectural principles standards and guidelines for SAP BTP migration and cloud-native solutions
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP (process data and systems)
  
• Manage and mentor technical teams ensuring agile delivery with iterative feedback cycles
  
• Develop architectural artifacts documentation and system development guidelines
  
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on SAP BTP capabilities and migration best practices
  
• Stay updated with SAP BTP roadmap features and industry trends to continuously enhance solutions
  

Technical Expertise

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and migration strategies
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) including Cloud Foundry Kyma and ABAP Environment
  
• Proven experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) including complex integration scenarios across cloud and on-premise systems
  
• Deep understanding of SAP Integration Suite components (CPI API Management Open Connectors)
  
• Expertise in API-led integrations microservices and event-driven architectures
  
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and SAP Solution Manager Focused Build
  
• Knowledge of embedded analytics and intelligent enterprise solutions on SAP BTP
  
• Familiarity with TMForum Application Framework and SAFe methodologies is a plus
  

Functional Expertise

• Strong experience in designing enterprise-grade applications and integration solutions
  
• Exposure to industries such as Metals & Mining Energy Oil & Gas or related sectors
  
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills throughout the project lifecycle
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Technology Specialist SAP BTP
  
• SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
  
• Agile Project Delivery with Focused Build for SAP Solution Manager
  
• TMForum Application Framework Fundamentals
  
• SAFe Agilist or equivalent Agile certification
  

Experience & Soft Skills

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience with at least 57 years focused on SAP BTP migration and architecture
  
• Proven track record of leading large-scale migration projects for global clients (Energy Oil & Gas or similar industries)
  
• Prior roles such as Solution Architect Integration Architect or Migration Architect with hands-on implementation experience
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
