Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer based in Vancouver. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering innovative electrical solutions for buildings rail and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to grow your engineering career while contributing to impactful sustainable projects across Canada.

Your Role

• Electrical engineering consulting for buildings rail or other infrastructure projects.
• Under the direction of a registered engineer perform tasks related to electrical systems design for design mandates of medium and high complexity.
• Support electrical engineering design deliverables for assigned projects including investigations report writing design and construction administration tasks under the direction of a registered engineer of record.
• Ensure the quality and consistency accuracy and neatness of electrical engineering deliverables as part of corporate QA/QC program.
• Perform site investigations safely including travelling to site (including driving) walking around construction sites carrying a ladder or other items (approximately 35lbs) around site and climbing ladder to access ceiling space lowering self to observe electrical systems low to ground and committing to safety regulations and requirements.
• Participate in local and corporate sustainability initiatives to positively advance both corporate and industry developments.
• Review understand and clearly communicate all relevant client requirements provide design solutions and recommendations to match those requirements.

About You

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a relevant consulting engineering environment.
• Use software tools such as AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office to prepare deliverables as required.
• English (excellent speaking reading and writing skills required).

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $80000 - $100000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
