Phlebotomist

Cedar Park Group is hiring experienced Phlebotomists for VA clinic coverage in San Juan and surrounding areas of Puerto Rico. This opportunity is ideal for a dependable phlebotomist who is comfortable working across outpatient clinics and medical facilities supporting geriatric and medically complex patient populations in a professional high-accountability setting.

Schedule / Shift

• Monday through Friday 5:30 am4:00 pm
• Saturday 6:00 am12:00 pm
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays as needed
• Coverage purchased in 4-hour or 8-hour blocks
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Base year anticipated
• July 1 2026 through June 30 2027
• with
• four 1-year option periods

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Comfortable working with elderly and medically complex patients
• Strong reliability professionalism and attendance required
• Ability to work across multiple clinic locations based on operational need
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and completing required data entry

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and body fluid specimens for laboratory testing
• Process label and handle specimens in accordance with clinical standards
• Provide on-site phlebotomy support across VA clinics and medical facilities
• Maintain infection control safety and specimen accuracy standards
• Complete required EMR documentation and data entry
• Coordinate specimen transport and communicate with laboratory staff as needed
• Support related duties based on clinic workflow and staffing needs

Compensation

• $15$23 per hour depending on experience
• Opportunities for higher rates based on need and performance
