The Guest Service team at Hilton Hawaiian Village is currently seeking a collaborative team player to be their next Parking Attendant (Cashier). This position is responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- At least one (1) year of previous customer service experience.
- At least one (1) year of cashiering experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage high volume.
- The ability to work weekdays evenings weekends and holidays.
- Most importantly a service heart to deliver a high level of service to our guests!
Classification: Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Full availability morning evening weekends and holidays. shifts may vary.
The hourly wage for this role is: $27.04 to $33.80 per hour.
What will I be doing
As a Parking Attendant (Cashier) you would be responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Total process and collect payments from guests and all parking transactions to include but not limited to using the point-of-sale system handling money managing a bank reporting discrepancies processing credit and debit cards making change and processing gift certificates cards vouchers and credits
- Operate and manage the parking booth area
- Maintain accurate records of parking-related charges and fees including but not limited to parking rates validations accrued parking time vehicles in the hotels care etc.
- Manage flow of traffic as needed
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
