Swim Instructor

• You need to be a swimmer. Ideally you have at least a basic understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water
• Youve got to love working with children and seeing them progress
• You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!
• We have flexible schedules and three locations we teach out addition to weekday shifts we also have weekend mornings (Saturday & Sunday) from approximately 9:00am-1pm or 10:30am-2:30pm
• Weekday shifts start between 3:00pm- 4:00pm and go to the early/mid evening.
• You need to be able to reliably commute to one of our 3 locations in the Linthicum Heights/Hanover area and/or the Greenbelt or Lansdowne/ Halethorpe areas

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team even if youre not in the pool.
