| Job Description: | The University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Quality Officer to join our team to serve as the administrative lead for departmental quality assurance patient safety and Just Culture initiatives across multiple emergency department sites. The Quality Officer will work in close collaboration with the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs the Physician Director of Quality (PDQ) and site-based PDQs to develop implement and sustain comprehensive quality and patient safety initiatives. This individual will lead performance improvement efforts drive data-informed decision-making and ensure alignment with UF Health Shands quality and service goals The UF Department of Emergency Medicine proudly maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital a distinguished 1162-bed teaching facility renowned for its Level 1 trauma center and cutting-edge burn center. As the primary referral center for North Central Florida our institution stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare. | Expected Salary: | The annual salary ranges between $85000 - $93000 and is commensurate with education and experience.
