Associate Intake Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish Required)

Kern Regional Center is one of 21 private non-profit regional centers contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate community-based services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Kern Regional Center services over 10000 individuals in Kern Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22000 square miles with a population of over 945000 people.

An Associate Intake Coordinator obtains information from potential Kern Regional Center clients or responsible parties; requests records for use in eligibility determination; under minimal direction performs administrative and skilled secretarial duties; performs other related duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Associate degree from an accredited college and one year of experience or
• High school diploma or equivalent with three (3) years of experience.
• Bilingual language fluency (Spanish/English) required.

Hourly rate: $18.55 - $27.13

Starting hourly rate: $18.55 - $19.48
