Shipping Equipment Operator

Job Overview
The Shipping Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately picking product from the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center and staging the product at the proper loading areas. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties. Other responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from storage racks onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location in the loading area.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
• All other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Starting hourly pay at $20.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department which includes availability for weekends
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions reading and writing and having knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures as required by the position.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bobs

Physical Demands

• Able to sit walk stand bend stoop kneel reach twist push pull climb balance crouch push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing walking lifting and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%
