We are seeking an accomplished Chief Architect and Design Lead to support the NISSC III program. In this role you will work with mission-critical systems essential to spaceflight safety and national security. This is a full-time high-visibility position for a technical leader who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about excellence in system architecture and design.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the single point of contact for systemarchitecture and design across the NISSC III program
Establish and maintain in-depth designknowledge of the NISSC III programs
Analyze develop and maintain sustainment-covered requirements in collaboration with the Government Program Office
Maintain requirements documentation and metadata including traceability within a Digital Engineering environment
Conduct system analysis requirements development design reviews root cause analysis and impact assessments
Recommend corrective or mitigating actions to resolve technical issues
Execute Technical Baseline Integrity tasks to identify evaluate and mitigate risks to system sustainmentofNISSCIIIcovered systems
Review validate and release configuration itemsincluding documents and drawingswhile identifying gaps or discrepancies
Verifies conformance to specifications drawings interface control documents as defined with the programs configuration management
Audit system modifications installations hardware and software against baseline artifacts
Support Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs); ensure timely submission of required reports
Assistin documenting and implementing hardwaresoftwareand networkconfiguration managementprocesses and procedures
Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and applicable government standards including:
Correct markings
Security labels
Distribution statements
Perform leadership roles for the NISSC III contract.

Required Qualifications:
BachelorsDegree ina related field with 12 years of relevant experience; Additional experience training and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.
Strong desireto grow and learnnew technologiesin themissile warning andspace systems fields.
Demonstrated experience writing and editing government documentation.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team in a highlydynamicwork environment.
Demonstrated creative and technical initiative and resourcefulness.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft SuiteandSharePointand other Document Management Engineeringand Collaboration Tools.
Ability to lead and mentor more junior systems engineers.
US Citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in related field with 10 years of experience
Active DoDTS/SCIclearance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate and advocate discipline-related knowledge services and programs.
Proven experience managing and delivering projects on schedule and within budget
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall)
Deep technical knowledge of software development engineering and networking concepts
Significant experience with Space Force systems and elements
Experience working in a Digital Engineering environment; familiarity with NoMagic CAMEO is a plus

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131300.00 - $237350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
