Employment Law Litigation Paralegal

Summary

We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Employment Law department.

This role is in-office 5 days per week with no flexibility to be hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings motions affidavits complaints legal memoranda.
• Organize exhibits documents evidence briefs and appendices.
• Interface with Administrative Agencies including EEOC.
• E-file court documents in federal and state court.
• Prepare discovery documents interrogatories and responses.
• Draft and serve summons.
• Coordinate depositions.
• Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.
• Drafting pleadings motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court.
• Interfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery.
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
• Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties including co-counsel counsel for defendants and the courts.

Requirements

• Associate degree certificate or equivalent work experience (preferred)
• At least 2 years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred).
• General Litigation Experience preferably in federal court
• Applicable knowledge of motions discovery evidence litigation documentation court rules and procedures practices.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
