Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Downpatrick
Description
We are hiring for our client a growing and highly specialised contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Downpatrick.
This Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects within industrial and commercial sectors supporting delivery from pre-contract through to final account. The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a business known for quality technical expertise and continued investment in their people.

The Role
- Prepare cost estimates budgets and financial reports
- Manage procurement processes including PQQs and tendering
- Administer contracts and manage variations
- Monitor project costs to ensure delivery within budget
- Value completed works and manage interim payments
- Liaise with clients contractors and internal project teams
- Support risk management and value engineering initiatives
The Person
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Minimum 1 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Knowledge of construction contracts tendering and PQQ processes
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Willingness to travel to sites across NI ROI and UK
