Facilitator / Trainer in Person Centred Planning Ref: 96197

The Role
The post holder will work in collaboration with staff and managers in promoting and developing person centred planning and a quality system for all adults in day and residential services within Corlann South.
The person appointed will be required to develop and deliver staff training in person centred planning using CQLs Personal Outcomes Measures (POMs) as a planning model and to facilitate the implementation monitoring and review of personal plans and the POMs framework.
They will have a role on promoting and supporting the implementation of HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities and HSE Interim Standards for New Directions Services and Supports for Adults with Disabilities
This role may expand and develop in line with changes in policy/legislation within the Irish Disability Sector
The Candidate:
- Professional Qualifications. Experience etc.
- Each candidate for the appointment must
- Possess a relevant 3rd level qualification on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework in a health social care or related field
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience of implementing quality standards and government policy within a service framework.
- Have experience of facilitating individual and group scenarios
- Have experience of quality systems
- Have a strong commitment to the values of inclusiveness human rights and person-centred services
- Must have a high degree of IT literacy in a range of relevant packages
- Be self-motivated and have excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Have experience of delivering training and of Person Outcomes Measures New Directions and HIQA Standards is desirable.
- Possession of a full clean driving licence which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads with means of transport is essential
- Age
- Age restriction shall only apply to a candidate where s/he is not classified as a new entrant (within the meaning of the Public Service Superannuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2004). A candidate who is not classified as a new entrant must be under 65 years of age on the first day of the month in which the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office occurs.

- Candidates for any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
- Character
- Candidates for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
Salary Scale: Admin Grade V 52235 - 62485 per annum (1/2/26 Consolidated scales)
