Sales Coordinator
Murphy Hospitality Group (MHG) has an excitingopportunity to join our outstanding team as Sales Coordinator supporting ourHotel and Restaurant Divisions. Reportingto the Director of Sales Hotel Division you will assist with the coordinationand administrative tasks related our sales function including coordinatinggroup bookings and ensuring professional communication with both returning andpotential clients. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support &Coordination
- Assist the Director ofSales and Hotel and Restaurant Operations teams with administrative tasksproposal preparation and contract management
- Respond to inquiries forgroup bookings meetings events and room blocks in a timely and professionalmanner
- Prepare and distributesales materials presentations and promotional packages
- Maintain accurate recordsin the Delphi Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Generate reports on salesactivities bookings and revenue performance
ClientRelations & Event Coordination
- Serveas the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and group bookings
- Coordinatewith Hotel or Restaurant Operations Team with site tours for potential clientsand showcase hotel/restaurant facilities
- Coordinatedetails between clients and hotel or restaurant departments including cateringoperations and front desk
- Followup with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Buildand maintain strong relationships with meeting planners corporate clients andtravel agents
- Coordinate event details including dates menus guestcounts layouts and special requests
- Collaborate with operations culinary service andmanagement teams to ensure accurate event execution
Administrative &Operational Tasks
- Process contracts banquetevent orders and rooming lists with accuracy
- Coordinate with revenuemanagement on group rate negotiations and availability
- Maintain organized filingsystems for contracts correspondence and client information
- Assist with sales meetingstrade shows and networking events
- Support marketinginitiatives and social media efforts as needed
- Ensure brand consistencyacross all communication

What You Bring
- Bachelors degree inHospitality Management Business or related field or equivalent workexperience
- 1-2 years of experience insales event coordination or hospitality operations including group bookings
- Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience with hotelproperty management systems (Webrez Pro Delphi Salesforce or similar)
- Knowledge of the local (Atlantic)markets and hospitality industry trends
