About the team
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. As a team we are driven by a desire to make a positive impact and are constantly innovating to find new ways to support the success of our SME customers.
What youll do

This Hybrid role is based in Toronto Canada.
Responsibilities:
Identifying and qualifying leads through various channels including phone email and social media.
Building relationships with potential customers and understanding their needs and pain points.
Presenting our innovative solutions and crafting compelling value propositions.
Qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives.
Who you are
Were looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors or equivalent work experience
1 years of sales experience in outbound B2B sales
Preferred qualifications:
Experience or desire to be working in a fast-paced environment articularly in 0-1 mode (e.g. helped to launch and grow a new product or region)
Strategic thinker and able to drive partnership conversations vs. sales conversations - Solution Oriented
A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have strong analytical skills and an organized way of thinking/working
Proficient in GSuite and sales tech tools like Salesforce Outreach Zoominfo Linkedin Sales Navigator and more..
