About You

Ideally youll have:
- have at a minimum a couple of years of experience as a software developer
- ideally have experience with Ruby on Rails JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React and cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes
- expertise in producing modern accessible web applications
- a Computer Science degree(or equivalent experience or education)
- enjoy learning about and using AI development tools
Key responsibilities
- Build bespoke applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Manage and configure our flexible infrastructure stack including AWS Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and improve our Continuous Integration services (Github Actions and Gitlab Pipeline) - running tests linters security and accessibility audits and deployments.
- Develop high quality and well-tested code.
- Take initiative and be resourceful in problem-solving.
- Use tools like AI to enhance productivity automate tasks and improve development workflows.
- Work in a small dedicated and high-performing Agile software team.
- Work closely with Product Owners and our UX/UI designers.
- Continuously learn and share knowledge to grow the development team capabilities.
- Build strong relationships with Boost team members and clients.
- Contribute to our award-winning culture by practising our core organisational values.
