Concrete Laborer

• Assist with concrete work including forming placing and finishing
• Help set and remove forms place rebar and perform basic concrete duties
• Prepare and clean job sites removing debris and eliminating hazards
• Dig shovel and assist with grading and site preparation
• Load unload and distribute materials tools and equipment
• Signal equipment operators to assist with safe movement and placement
• Support traffic control and maintain safe work zones
• Read and follow plans instructions and specifications as directed
• Maintain clean organized and safe work areas
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Construction or concrete experience preferred
• Valid drivers license preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand basic plans and instructions
• Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced job site environment

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing walking bending kneeling and lifting
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment

• Outdoor construction sites including highways and roadside projects
• Exposure to moving traffic heavy equipment noise dust and fumes
• Work in varying weather conditions (heat cold rain)
• May require travel depending on project location

• Complete work safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety standards with zero exceptions
• Maintain productivity and reliability on the job site
• Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude

CMES Inc. was founded in February 1996 by professional civil engineers. The initial operations of CMES Inc. were conducted from their home in Lawrenceville Georgia. The founders were only employees for a time working diligently to obtain and complete projects within budget and on time as per contract specifications.

Today we are still young but also an aggressive company comprised of experienced professionals from the engineering design analysis construction and project management fields. We have grown to a workforce of over 300 dedicated employees and a fleet of more than 400 heavy construction equipment and vehicles. Our corporate office is located on a 67000 square foot facility which houses contracts estimating administrating accounting human resources and our fleet departments.
