Concrete Laborer needed in Atlanta Metro Area. The Concrete Laborer supports heavy civil construction projects by performing general labor and assisting with concrete work site preparation and daily field operations. This role is essential to ensuring projects are completed safely efficiently and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with concrete work including forming placing and finishing
Help set and remove forms place rebar and perform basic concrete duties
Prepare and clean job sites removing debris and eliminating hazards
Dig shovel and assist with grading and site preparation
Load unload and distribute materials tools and equipment
Signal equipment operators to assist with safe movement and placement
Support traffic control and maintain safe work zones
Read and follow plans instructions and specifications as directed
Maintain clean organized and safe work areas
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Construction or concrete experience preferred
Valid drivers license preferred
Skills & Abilities
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to read and understand basic plans and instructions
Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced job site environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing walking bending kneeling and lifting
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment
Work Environment
Outdoor construction sites including highways and roadside projects
Exposure to moving traffic heavy equipment noise dust and fumes
Work in varying weather conditions (heat cold rain)
May require travel depending on project location
