Registered Nurse needed in Valley Views Radiation Oncology department inside our Calaway Young Cancer Center!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• RN with current Colorado license
• BLS
• ACLS
• Preferred: Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy

Experience:

• Radiation Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Ability to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team with written and verbal proficiency.
• Ability to coordinate oncology patient care with other interdisciplinary staff.
• Flexibility and highly organized
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients of varying age groups human development stages and cultural groups.
• Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management.
• Current knowledge of latest trends skills procedures and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice
• Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology immunology pharmacology community health and cultural sensitivity information.

SALARY RANGE

• $37.50 to $56.23/hour (BSN)
• Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
• Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN BSN MSN
