This role requires strong technical knowledge of press operations a commitment to quality and a focus on efficiency and waste Work at MCCCompensation: $30.00 $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)Shift Differential: $1.50 for NightsBenefits: Medical dental vision life insurance disability coverage and 401(k)Paid Holidays:New Years DayMemorial Day Independence DayLabor Day Thanksgiving DayDay After ThanksgivingChristmas EveChristmas Day Plus two floating holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesFollow all plant and corporate safety policies procedures and report safety concerns or incidents to a clean organized and safe work area through daily press make-ready according to job tickets and product specifications ensuring correct plates inks substrates tooling and press offset printing press equipment to meet customer specifications while optimizing quality efficiency and waste all required press-side quality checks including color copy registration ink adhesion and visual consistent print quality throughout production all documentation procedures and quality measurements required under BRC and internal quality routine press maintenance including cleaning plates cylinders ink systems and lubricating equipment as and timely enter material usage downtime and production data into the GlobeTek continuous improvement efforts related to safety quality and school diploma or GED of 1 year of printing press operator experience or technical training; offset printing experience strongly attention to detail with the ability to interpret job tickets and quality to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm walking; occasional climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
