Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and support industrialization of advanced manufacturing processes (e.g. casting brazing coating additive manufacturing precision machining) for Hot Gas Path components including nozzles buckets shroud components.
Interface with design engineering materials engineering quality and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and producibility of new and existing components.
Develop and validate process documentation (work instructions process flow diagrams PFMEAs control plans).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to manufacturing non-conformances and quality escapes.
Drive cost reduction yield improvement and cycle time optimization through lean manufacturing techniques and process innovation.
Provide technical support to internal and external suppliers ensuring process capability and compliance to GE standards.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change initiatives from a manufacturing perspective.
Utilize digital tools and data analytics to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain budgets and report on results pertaining to the findings and progress of the projects being assigned to this individual.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 8-10 years of Manufacturing/Engineering experience
Eligibility Requirements
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as investment casting CNC machining thermal barrier coatings diffusion coatings brazing or additive manufacturing.
- Experience with problem-solving tools (e.g. 8D RCA DMAIC).
- Proficient with CAD/CAM tools (e.g. NX Creo) and data analysis software (e.g. Minitab Excel).
- Understanding of quality systems including AS9100 ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- This position is 100% onsite at our GE Vernova Greenville SC site.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e. U.S. citizens permanent residents and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/19/26 or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
