Position Description:
This position is located in our Dallas TX office.
For this role on this particular client engagement employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.
Were looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to join our agile development team in this role youll help ensure our applications meet high quality standards through hands-on testing and collaboration with developers and product teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Participate in basic agile meetings and follow agile ways of working.
Help create and run manual and automated tests for web applications.
Write and update test cases test plans and simple automation scripts.
Investigate test failures log defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
Assist with automating repetitive testing tasks.
Share testing progress and results with the QA lead and team.
Communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Over 1 years of experience working as a quality engineer in an Agile team.
1 years of test automation experience using Selenium and Cucumber.
Experience in Karate and Playwright.
Experience in managing code repositories and versions using Azure DevOps GIT or SVN.
Experience developing API tests using Karate framework.
Experience developing tests using cucumber and BDD frameworks.
1 years of experience developing maintaining & executing automated regression tests for web and backend applications.
1 years of experience writing SQL scripts.
Understanding of Agile project management/ DevOps tools.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51600 - $110500.
