Clean Harborsis seeking aWater Project Managerto join our team based in Kapolei HI. TheWater Project Manageris primarily responsible for handling projects related to the Clean Harbors Remediation Technology division. This position will have primary focus on bidding managing and executing large water filtration and treatment projects.

Pay:$ DOE & Annual bonus potential
Location: Will work in office unless out on project location; travel to support projects in areas outside of Hawaii will be needed.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Serves as a Project Manager for Clean Harbors Remediation Technology division for environmental civil construction and remediation projects. Mostly focused on water technology;
- Primarily responsible for proposal preparation including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules;
- Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding our customers concerns and priorities;
- Provides engineering and technical support to field service offices;
- Provides technical support to Clean Harbors field service offices;
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business;
- With support of office management team assist with procurement for projects including materials equipment rental temporary labor and subcontractors;
- Provides timely concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates;
- Provides technical support for proposal preparation project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement;
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in civilor GeologicalengineeringGeology HydrogeologyEnvironmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred;
- 5 years demonstrated Project Management experience in environmental remediation preferred;
- Cost estimating experience and ability to develop and present Project Change Orders;
- Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings;
- Strong customer management skills;
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing remedial sites;
- Valid Drivers License and acceptable MVR required;
- Active Hawaii Contractors License required;
- Ability to pass federal level background check after hire DBIDS. If this is not cleared it is possible that the result will be termination;
- Ability to travel as needed around Hawaii and to other parts of the United States/Global.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk stand sit for extended periods pull/push carry grasp reach crawl stoop crouch and balance;
- Navigate varying site conditions including steep slopes and rugged terrain;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds;
- Requires speaking listening understanding and writing English; color determination depth perception clarity of vision and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected);
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and personal appearance. Facial hair must comply with the companys respiratory protection policy.
Other Conditions of Employment:
- This position is based out of our Kapolei HI office with travel as needed around other Hawaiian islands and possibly stateside or global;
- Complete an employment application and satisfy all employment requirements including a pre-employment and annual physical drug screen and background clearance;
- Adhere to Clean Harbors policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40 RCRA DOT and other training;
- Maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light-duty vehicles.
