Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a large-scale Salesforce Licensing Permitting and Inspection (LPI) system. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution coordinating across business technical and vendor teams and ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT projects preferably including large Salesforce implementations and a proven ability to drive results across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope objectives deliverables success criteria and strategic alignment with key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports charters and operational checklists
- Create and manage detailed project schedules work plans and dependency mappings
- Track project progress using enterprise tools such as MS Project Online or equivalent
- Manage scope schedule budget and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify track and mitigate risks and issues; escalate when necessary
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external vendors
- Coordinate meetings capture action items and ensure timely follow-up and execution
- Communicate project goals timelines and deliverables clearly across all stakeholders
- Support technical processes including architecture and compliance reviews
- Lead testing and acceptance processes including development of test plans
- Ensure team members have appropriate system access and resources
- Maintain project budget tracking and vendor billing oversight
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 58 years of experience in IT project management including complex cross-functional initiatives
- Experience working in a project portfolio environment with multiple vendors and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and issue management skills including root cause analysis
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools including Office 365 Teams SharePoint OneDrive and Project
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum Waterfall and ITIL methodologies
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and release management
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership organizational and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale Salesforce implementations or deployments
- Background in public sector IT projects is a plus
- Knowledge of organizational change management and end-user training
- Experience with contract management and vendor coordination
- Ability to lead both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
