Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Ortho/Neuro Trauma (Charge Nurse)
Location: Kansas City MO
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Rotating Weekends Required
Pay Rate: $35.65 $47.64/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide leadership and clinical oversight within a high-acuity Ortho/Neuro Trauma this Charge Nurse role you will coordinate unit operations support nursing staff and ensure the delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing operations during assigned shifts
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient-centered care
• Supervise mentor and support nursing staff
• Assist with patient admissions discharges and care transitions
• Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 6:1)
• Support staffing scheduling and workflow coordination
• Participate in staff training hiring and performance evaluations
• Address conflict resolution and uphold organizational policies
• Maintain adequate unit supplies and equipment
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN license (or compact license)
• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg RN experience
• Strong acute care experience required
• Prior Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Must have recent hands-on clinical experience
