Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide leadership and clinical oversight within a high-acuity Ortho/Neuro Trauma this Charge Nurse role you will coordinate unit operations support nursing staff and ensure the delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate nursing operations during assigned shifts
Ensure delivery of high-quality patient-centered care
Supervise mentor and support nursing staff
Assist with patient admissions discharges and care transitions
Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Manage nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 6:1)
Support staffing scheduling and workflow coordination
Participate in staff training hiring and performance evaluations
Address conflict resolution and uphold organizational policies
Maintain adequate unit supplies and equipment
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN license (or compact license)
BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg RN experience
Strong acute care experience required
Prior Charge Nurse experience preferred
Must have recent hands-on clinical experience
