Job Description
Job Summary:
Bartenders at Two Kings Casino are responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to casino guests while ensuring a fun safe and engaging environment. They are expected to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks quickly and accurately maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and adhere to all regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities:
Preform other duties as assigned
Prepare a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests efficiently and with high quality
Deliver friendly prompt and attentive customer service to all guests
Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and uphold all responsible beverage service policies
Accurately handle cash credit card and player comp transaction using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness organization and sanitation of the bar including glassware tools and stock
Restock liquor garnishes and supplies throughout the shift to ensure bar readiness
Monitor guest behavior and intervene as needed in cases of overconsumption or unruly conduct
Work collaboratively with cocktail servers barbacks and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Follow all company procedures health regulations and alcohol service laws
Assist with bar setup breakdown and shift changes required
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age with the ability to obtain and maintain applicable licenses and certifications (e.g alcohol service permit)
Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume environment (casino or hospitality preferred)
Strong knowledge of drink recipes mixology and proper serving techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be available to work nights weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agilysys InfoGenesis or similar POS system
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Experience in a casino or high-energy nightlife setting
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.
Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to second-hand cigarette smoke).
Working Conditions:
Loud and dynamic environment with exposure to alcohol and secondhand smoke
Must be able to work on your feet for long periods and in close proximity to guests
Exposure to fast-paced and high-stress situations during peak hours
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 50lbs
Work in hot humid and noisy environments
