About the role
As a Destination Specialist youll play a key role in driving the growth of holiday sales across FCB UK. Acting as a subject-matter expert youll support our sales consultants by providing specialist product and destination knowledge guiding them through complex and niche bookings and ensuring every customer receives a tailored high-quality experience.
Working closely with our preferred DMCs and suppliers youll manage and support bookings across niche products and Helio packages ensuring accuracy compliance and profitability at every stage. Youll proactively resolve issues minimise booking errors and complaints and protect both customer satisfaction and company margins.
Beyond bookings this is a highly collaborative and influential role. Youll train and coach consultants on preferred products and destinations create and deliver training materials and help embed consistency in product selection and ways of working. As our business evolves youll embrace change adapt to new systems and processes and contribute insights through reporting and quality assurance to support continuous improvement.
About you
Youre a confident travel professional with a passion for destinations product expertise and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You thrive in a fastpaced environment are calm under pressure and bring a high level of attention to detail to everything you do.
Youll bring:
- Proven experience in individual travel sales with a strong track record of accurate bookings
- Excellent product and destination knowledge ideally across multiple continents and preferred suppliers
- Strong system knowledge (Helio experience preferred; Amadeus an advantage)
- The ability to communicate clearly professionally and empathetically with consultants suppliers and stakeholders
- A proactive selfmotivated approach with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Confidence in supporting coaching and training others leading by example in both attitude and results
- Flexibility and resilience with a positive mindset towards change and new ways of working
