About theRole:

West Coast Gardens is looking for acreative and hands-on Studio Planter Designer & Builderto join our team.If you have a passion forannualstropicals and perennials enjoy working with plants and have a strong eye forcolour texture and plant combinations this could be the role for you.

In this positionyoullhelpproducelarge quantitiesof indoor and outdoor plantersused for retail displays marketing and wholesale orders. While many planters are built from provided specificationswerelooking for someone with anartistic eyewho takes pride in creatingbeautiful finishedpieces.

Responsibilities:

• Assembleindoor and outdoor plantersusing provided planting specifications

• Buildtropical planters and seasonal combinationsin bulk quantities

• Maintain a high standard forcolourbalance plantselection and overall presentation

• Produce planters used inretail displays e-newsletters and wholesale programs

• Monitor plant health and ensure plants are properly cared for

• Keep the Studio workspaceclean organized and well stocked

• Work with the retail and décor teams to ensure displaysremainfresh and visually compelling

Qualifications:

• Experience withannuals perennials and tropical plants

• A strongartistic eye for plant combinations and container design

• Ability to followplanting specifications whilemaintainingvisual quality

• Comfortable working in afast-paced hands-on environment

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team

• Able to work in greenhouse environment (highhumidityand temperatures)

• Reliable transportation is recommended as the location is not accessible by bus.
